HOWARD L. LIEBERMAN, M.D., (1922-2006), the founder
of Lieberman Eye Associates had a distinguished 45 year career
as a board-certified ophthalmologist, surgeon and teacher. He
was at the forefront of advances in modern cataract and implant
surgery, he lectured and taught these techniques throughout
the world. Dr. Lieberman invented many ophthalmic surgical instruments
which bear his name and continue to be used. His philosophy
of providing quality patient care remains embodied today within
the physicians and staff of Lieberman Eye Associates.

DAVID
S. HILLMAN, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist
who, in addition to his expertise in cataract,
implant and laser surgery,
is fellowship-trained in glaucoma.
He attended Yale University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude
and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. After graduation from Duke
University Medical School, Dr. Hillman completed his ophthalmology
residency at the University of Illinois, followed by a fellowship
in glaucoma at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr.
Hillman is on the medical staff of Our Lady of the Resurrection
Medical Center, University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center,
Highland Park Hospital and St. Josephs Medical Center.
In addition
to private practice, Dr. Hillman is an Assistant Professor at
the University of Illinois.

MARK P. BURANOSKY,
M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who, in addition
to his expertise in cataract, implant,
and laser surgery, is fellowship-trained in
corneal and refractive surgery.
Dr. Buranosky has been performing Laser Vision Correction since
1994, when he actively participated in the FDA clinical trials
of the Excimer Laser to treat nearsightedness and astigmatism.
He is a graduate of Duke University and graduated in the top
ten percent of his medical school class at the University of
Illinois. Following his residency in ophthalmology at Indiana
University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Buranosky
completed a fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at
the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Buranosky is
on the medical staff of Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical
Center, Highland Park Hospital and Northwest Surgicare Surgery
Center.
Dr. Buranosky is an experienced refractive surgeon, performing
custom wave-front LASIK, PRK, LASEK and Astigmatic
Keratotomy. He also performs corneal transplant
surgery and is on the faculty of Northwestern University.

STEVEN C.
EIDT, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who,
in addition to his expertise in cataract, implant
and laser surgery, specializes in eyelid
surgery and both BOTOX and RESTYLANE
cosmetic treatments.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kansas State University and
received the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honorary Award from the
University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. Eidt finished his internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center
in Spokane, Washington. He then completed his ophthalmology
residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
Dr. Eidt is on the
medical staff of Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center
and Highland Park Hospital.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Eidt is on the faculty
of Northwestern University.

Herbert C.
Becker, Jr., M.D.
is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric
and vitreoretinal diseases. He attended the University of Washington
Medical School, and residency training in Virginia. Dr. Becker
completed two fellowships at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Dr. Becker is on
the staff of Our Lady of the Resurrection
Medical Center and Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago as well
as Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Illinois.
